SERBIA IN THE WINTER

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014! :-D

I don't have to tell you how busy I am during the holidays. Well, everyone is! :-) I am missing out on the weekly update, but I''ll change that!  This week I decided to share with you the beauty of Serbian mountains. I chose three mountains that are great Serbian tourist attraction, both in summer and winter! There are more beautiful places that I'll show to you, and talk about in the upcoming ''Weekly Sightseeing'' These  mountains are wonderful during the summer, but in the winter time they spread magic. :-)

If you read ''Gone with the Wind'' by Margaret Mitchell, you know that Scarlet O'Hara owns an estate called Tara. What a coincidence, huh? :-)

THE FOOD OF THE WEEK

BAKED BEANS - PREBRANAC

There are various ways to prepare beans. If you come to Serbia, you definitely have to try prebranac.

The ingredients are: beans, salt, pepper, ground pimento, and the rest of the spices vary depending on whether you're preparing lean bean, or you are adding meat.
